Course Description

The MPES is a two-year postgraduate degree that provides a deep dive into exercise physiology, sports biomechanics, and specialized coaching. It is designed to transform passionate sports professionals into expert scientists, high-level coaches, and strategic sports administrators.

The program focuses on the analytical side of sports—using data, psychological profiling, and physiological testing to enhance athletic outcomes.

Eligibility & Admission

  • Academic Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed, BPES, or B.PE) from a recognized university.

  • Minimum Marks: Typically 50% to 55% aggregate marks (with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and national-level athletes).

  • Physical Fitness Test: Candidates must clear the university’s Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

  • Medical Fitness: A mandatory certificate of fitness for strenuous physical activity.

MPES vs. M.P.Ed: What’s the Difference?

  • M.P.Ed (Master of Physical Education): Primarily focused on pedagogy and teaching to prepare professionals for roles in schools and colleges.
