Course Description
The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is a four-year undergraduate program designed to provide students with a strong foundation in electronics, communication systems, and advanced digital technologies. The program focuses on the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electronic systems and communication networks that drive modern industries.
The curriculum covers core areas such as electronic devices and circuits, analog and digital electronics, signals and systems, microprocessors and microcontrollers, communication systems, electromagnetic theory, control systems, VLSI design, embedded systems, and digital signal processing (DSP). Students are also introduced to emerging domains including 5G and wireless communication, Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, artificial intelligence in electronics, satellite communication, and optical communication.
The program integrates theoretical concepts with extensive laboratory work, industry-oriented projects, internships, and hands-on training, enabling students to gain practical exposure and problem-solving skills. Emphasis is placed on innovation, system design, hardware–software integration, and communication technologies aligned with current and future industry demands.
